-PREMIERE: My new piece "Hikayet-i Muhacir" (The Tale of an Immigrant) for violin & piano will have its world premiere on 11/6 at New England Conservatory's Jordan Hall by the prolific violinist Sophia Szokolay! It's a free concert and there will be more premieres at this concert. More info here.

-The premier recording of "The Triumph" and "Devran" was released on August 15! The album is available to stream on all digital platforms. If you wish to purchase a CD, with a 24-page booklet, click here. Both pieces have been performed by Blue Heron and DÜNYA. While "Devran" is an a cappella piece, "The Triumph" is written for choir, bowed tanbur (long-necked lute), ney (end-blown flute) and two percussionists. The texts of both pieces are by Turkish Sufi poets.
